In over 20 years of working with the semiconductor industry, SEMATECH has methodically attracted and developed the talent, resources, and partnerships to change the way the industry approaches R&D.
The progress we have made over the years is not the result of any single great idea, other than the foundational concept of collaborating to share risk and reward. Our achievements are the cumulative effect of years of disciplined guidance, research and testing by many of the industry's top-notch researchers who always keep an eye on real-world results: manufacturing reliability and cost of ownership.
Even as we celebrate our successes in semiconductor technology and manufacturing, we are looking to the future, building from our base and expanding into new areas where we can continue to apply our collaborative strategies to accelerate emerging technology commercialization that will drive the world economy for decades to come.
